Our goal is to serve our community with the most professional and compassionate care possible.  We believe in being honest and up front with the families which we serve. Below is a price summary of the service packages that we offer.

Direct Cremation includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within a 25 mile radius, transport to the crematorium which is onsite, and cremation. This service charge is $995 and does not include the purchase of any merchandise and taxes. To add a memorial service held in the chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services with a register book, custom memorial folder, acknowledgement cards, and a memorial book marker is only an additional $395.

Traditional Funeral Service Package includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within a 25 mile radius, embalming, other preparation of the body, use of facility for daytime viewing, use of facility and staff for funeral ceremony, use of staff for committal service, a register book, custom memorial folder, acknowledgement cards, and a memorial book marker, Allen casket, use of artificial casket spray, use of hearse, use of utility vehicle, tent, chairs, and lowering device is only $6,672.

Graveside Ceremony Package includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within a 25 mile radius, other preparation of the body, use of staff for committal service, a register book, custom memorial folder, acknowledgement cards, and a memorial book marker, Allen casket, use of artificial casket spray, use of hearse, use of utility vehicle, tent, chairs, and lowering device is only $4,757.

Natural Burial Ceremony Package includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within a 25 mile radius, other preparation of the body, use of staff for graveside service, paperback register book, locally crafted natural casket, and hand straps for lowering is only $4,340.

We offer a $150 discount to the veterans that we serve when presented with an honorable military discharge.

Please note that none of our services include a cemetery plot, opening and closing of the grave, or a permanent grave marker.  Most for profit cemeteries in Buncombe County range from $1,700 to $4,000 for both the plot purchase and the opening and closing of the grave. In regards to natural burial options there are two cemeteries which we recommend in the Asheville area.  They are Green Hills Cemetery (828) 252-9831 and Carolina Memorial Sanctuary (828) 782-7283.
