We grieve with you at the loss of Norma. She was an incredible woman as evidenced by the strength, love and compassion she instilled in Ivan who stands as a testament to her love. Wishing you peaceful hearts and healing memories.

All my life, Norma was there, with memories of her as early as earliest memories of my own mom, Val, who considered Norma a best friend, a tough bridge competitor, solid, faithful and insightful individual. A rock as a family friend. A sense of both humor and realism that was unshakable and exemplary, and she will dearly missed, as she was and will always be dearly loved. Always genuine, she touched so many in her life. I am glad and proud, too, that she was in mine, and ours. None like her, may we all be grateful and remember well her wonderful life, loving, caring ways and contributions to those around her and the communities in which she journeyed.

I remember Norma as being a gracious woman, who helped me to pay for some of my college classes and I paid her back even though she said that I did not have to repay her. She encouraged me as I went through WCU. I remember her son's Eagle Scout award and was glad that my son was able to follow suit. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Ivan and family.
