Michael Anderson Nesbitt

Michael Anderson Nesbitt, 73, of Alexander, NC, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, John and Crystal Nesbitt. He was a retired Buncombe County Sherriff’s Deputy. Michael loved life, and people, and children. He never let anyone do without, especially his kids. Michael would help those in need and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Surviving Michael is his loving wife of 29 years, Norma Nesbitt; sons, Michael Nesbitt Jr. and wife, Melissa of Alexander, NC, Randall Stafford and fiancée, Misty of Wolf Laurel, NC; daughter, Cynthia Shelton and husband Brian of Alexander, NC; brother, Jim Andres and wife, Carrol of Asheville, NC; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 4 nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Grandview Church in Alexander, NC. Rev Kenneth Huffman will be officiating.
