Prayers for the family of such a wonderful man. I just recently had the privilege of meeting Joel . He brightened each day that I saw him , while bringing a friend for radiation. Such a kind, funny, Godly man. I will never forget him and the impact he had on my and my friends life. Rest in Peace Joel!!

Leah, your marriage has been a beacon to many of us--a reminder that marriage is not entered into for ourselves but for the purpose of letting God's glory shine through a union where 1 and 1 make much more than 2 and yet become 1. I was stunned to hear of Joel's illness and passing. I have many great memories of him as we grew up in the same church. Praying for all of his family.
