Warren Walter Kranz, aged 83, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation in Asheville, North Carolina.
Warren was born on May 5, 1943, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, to the late Walter Kranz and Mildred Warren Kranz. He attended Oshkosh High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. On August 25th, 1963 he was united in marriage to Judy Lee Weifenbach. Throughout his life, Warren found fulfillment in several diverse careers, though he most thoroughly enjoyed his time working as a District Manager for the Des Moines Register and as a welder for Midwest Industries in Ida Grove, Iowa.
Outside of work, Warren embraced a wide variety of hobbies and passions. He loved fishing, hunting, golf, dancing, cooking, and playing cards with his family. He enjoyed vacationing and later living in Branson, Missouri. Above all, treasured the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his parents, Warren is preceded in passing by his brothers, William Kranz and Wayne Kranz.
Warren is survived by his loving wife, Judy Lee Weifenbach Kranz; children, Chandra Love, Tony (Deanne) Kranz and Tasha (Charles) Tromp; brother, Wesley (Susan) Kranz; 10 Grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
