Vickie Lynn Taylor

Asheville, NC – Vickie Lynn Taylor, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 4, 2026. A lifelong resident of Asheville, Vickie was born on January 14, 1960, to William Walter Taylor and Mary Katherine Bradley Taylor.

Vickie was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Patricia Taylor. She is survived by her devoted aunt, Jackie Metcalf (Gerald) of Asheville; her uncle, James Taylor (JoAnne) of Maryland; and several cousins to whom she was more than a relative, serving as a cherished aunt figure throughout their lives.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Vickie’s dedicated caretakers: Jackie Metcalf, Gerald Metcalf, MaryAnn Patterson, Brandy Hayes, and Tammy Mitchell. They also extend a special thank you to all the family members whose presence and support provided comfort during her final days.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
