Tommy Keith Woody

Tommy Keith Woody, 65, of Green Mountain, NC, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in his home.
Tommy was born in Spruce Pine, NC to the late Mack Donald Woody and Belvia Ann Grindstaff Woody. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Woody; and sisters, Gloria Robinson, and Nora Ellen Robinson.
Tommy was a member of the Double Island Fire Department for 20 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. 
Surviving Tommy is his loving wife of 32 years, Gayla (Jody) Hayes Woody; son, Jason Woody of Green Mountain, NC; daughter, Michaela Isaacs (Mark) of Green Mountain, NC; brothers, Charles Woody (Mary-Lou Jarret) of Green Mountain, NC, Phillip Woody (Vada) of Burnsville, NC; sisters, Lorraine Hall (Fred) of Green Mountain, NC; Maxine Banks (Kermit) of Burnsville, NC; Jean Shuford (Tommy) of Burnsville, NC; granddaughter, Cambria Woody of Green Mountain, NC; grandsons, Jace and Silas Isaacs both of Green Mountain, NC; and step-son, Steven Robinson (Donna) of Burnsville, NC. Also surviving is his little dog, Mr. Remington Wilson.
A  memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Rick Woody officiating. Tommy will be laid to rest in the Double Island Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help with expenses.
