Terry Lewis Whitesides

Terry Lewis Whitesides, 62, of Lake Toxaway, NC, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Terry was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Elbert Harold Whitesides and Myrtice L Honeycutt Whitesides. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Whitesides; his infant child (unnamed); niece, Riley Whitesides; and father-in-law, William Howard Mooney. Terry was a graduate of Brevard High School in 1976. He was the pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church of Brevard, NC. Terry enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved hunting with the grandkids, preaching and winning souls to the Lord. Surviving Terry is his loving wife of 40 years, Anita Carol Whitesides; sons, Joshua Whitesides (Amanda) and Jeremy Whitesides (Lisa) both of Lake Toxaway, NC; twin brother, Jerry Lee Whitesides (Mary); brother, Mark Stephen Whitesides (Sonya) of Pisgah Forest, NC; grandchildren, Sarah, David. Hannah, and Noah Whitesides; nieces Karen, Christy, Trinity, and Hunter, of TN; great nieces, Breana, and Arya; and great nephews, Joseph and Jack.
