Suzanne Kaye “Susie” Tipton, 64, of Weaverville, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the John F Keever Solace Center in Asheville with her loving husband and best friend of 41 years by her bedside.
Suzanne was born in Yancey Co, NC to Alvin and Faye Wilson. She is preceded in death by her father and her two brothers, Eugene and Ricky Wilson.
Suzanne graduated McDowell Highschool in 1975. She worked for the Grove Park Inn, Feed Seed Supply, Jesse Israel & Sons Garden Center, and Ace Hardware. Susie loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, hiking, and camping.
Surviving Suzanne is her husband, Randy Tipton; mother, Faye Wilson; sisters, Naomi Stevens (Ronnie) of Marion, NC, Genia Johnson (Matt) of Marion, NC; brother, Kevin Wilson, of Marion, NC; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is planned with place and time to be announced at a later date.
The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at the CarePartners Solace Center.
