Steven Wayne Jones

Steven Wayne Jones, 58, of Black Mountain, NC, passed away October 29, 2021 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge while under the care of CarePartners Hospice. Steven was born June 28, 1963 to the late Robert “Wayne” Jones and Darlene Jones-Momirovich. He attended NC School of the Arts and Graduated Paul Mitchell School with a degree in Cosmetology. Steve was a master hairstylist, accomplished actor, talented artist, beloved friend, cherished brother, amazing uncle, and darling son. Surviving Steven is his brother, Michael Jones (Susan) of Saint Marys, GA; sister, Tonia Jones Collins (Josh) of Palm City, FL; step-brother, David Catlett (Shawna) of Carboro, NC; step-mother, Sheryl Jones of Fayetteville, NC; step-father, Mike Momirovich of Fayetteville, NC; nieces, Meagan Petrone (A.J.) of Boynton Beach, FL, Katy Kelly (Scott) of Ocala, FL, Summer Collins of Los Angeles, CA, Bailey Jones of Saint Marys, GA; nephews, Max Collins (Kayla) of Jamestown, NC; Hunter Jones of Rocky Mount, NC, Colin Jones of Saint Marys, GA, Miles and Noah Catlett of Carboro, NC; great niece, Emma Kelly of Ocala, FL; and great nephew, Lincoln Petrone (Due in November) of Boynton Beach, FL.
