Sherry Ann Ledford

       Sherry Ann Ledford of Asheville, North Carolina, died July 10, 2025, at the age of fifty-eight. She was born March 19, 1967, in Mitchell County, North Carolina, to the late Lawrence and Nadine Ledford, and grew up in Spruce Pine. Sherry loved spending time at the beach with her family, especially her grandchildren.

            She is survived by her boyfriend, Paulino Lopez; children, Kalum Franklin of Asheville, North Carolina, Ashley Franklin (Angel Menendez) of Spruce Pine, and Isaiah Dale of Spruce Pine; grandchildren, Jada Clawson (Austin), Xzavier Jeronimo, Ezra Franklin, Jeffery and Ben; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Clawson; siblings, Jean Cassida (Dean), Janice Ledford, Johnny Ledford (Kim), and Ricky Ledford (Tina), all of Spruce Pine; and beloved nieces and nephews. Sherry also loved her dog, Prince. 

            A private service will be held at a later time. The family extends special thanks to Mission Hospital and Elevate Health and Rehabilitation staff.
