Sarah Elizabeth “Sally” Dubois Moberg, 92, entered into the loving hands of her Creator on November14,2020 at Givens Highland Farms in Black Mountain, N.C.
Sally was born in West Orange, N.J. on November 21, 1927 to the late Leroy Irving Dubois and Gwendolyn Waters Miller Dubois. She is preceded in death by her husband Edgar E. Moberg and previous husband, Louis L.Seivard. Sally attended Kimberley Academy in Montclair, N.J., West Orange High,
and Green Mountain College in Vermont.She was a mother and homemaker, enjoying gardening, gourmet cooking,fashion, and art.
She taught riding at Montclair Riding Club. Living in Westfield, N.J. for 60 years, she worshipped as a Presbyterian and later at the United Church of Christ, Plainfield, N.J.
Surviving Sally is her son, Louis Dubois Seivard of Powhatan,Va.;daughter Rev. Sarah Seivard Colvin of Asheville, N.C.; sister Mary Jane Preiser of Whiting, N.J. Grandchildren Steven Seivard, Jeffrey Seivard, Gregory Colvin, Christopher Colvin, Emily Colvin, Benjamin Colvin, and Molly Colvin;
9 loved great grandchildren and loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to covid the family will be holding a service in the spring or summer of 2021. She will be buried at
Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Montclair, N.J.
