Sarah Faye (Sprinkle) Ledbetter

Sarah Faye Sprinkle Ledbetter, 74, of Weaverville passed away peacefully in her home January 7th, 2025.

Sarah Faye was born October 5th, 1950, in the Bull Creek Community of Madison County. She was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Margaret Edwards Sprinkle. Sarah Faye graduated high school in 1969 and soon after married Albert “Buddy” Ledbetter. They then started their family.

Sarah Faye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a faithful Christian who found strength and comfort in Jesus. Sarah Faye was an incredibly intelligent and talented woman. She expressed her creativity through sewing. She loved working outdoors. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and sidekick, Pamela Ledbetter, her brother, Mert Lee Sprinkle, her sisters, Lula Belle Berry, Willie Jo Wilde, Patrica Johnston, Lois Hensley, Jamie Lou Partenheimer, Naomi Sams, and niece, Cyndi Bond.

Left to honor and cherish her memory is her husband, Albert Ledbetter of the home, daughter, Missy Ledbetter of Weaverville, her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Gabriel Burgin of McLean, VA and Hannah Burgin of Weaverville, her brother, Jimmy Sprinkle (Sandy) of Mars Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
