Ronald Stills Obituary

Ronald “Ron” Lee Stills, 65, of Weaverville passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville. Born April 28, 1955 in Asheville, he was a son of the late Enoch and Mattie Sue Stills.  He proudly served in the United States National Guard and retired after several years of service from Carolina CDL Training Center on August 17, 2020. During his truck driving years, he went by the CB handle of Carolina Romeo.  He enjoyed taking rides on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fishing the Ivy River for trout, and deer hunting. 
Surviving Ronald is his wife of 20 years, Elizabeth Stills; daughters, Melanie Alisa Robinson (Delaine) of Weaverville, NC, Melisa Andra Lane (Darryl) of Forest City, NC; brothers, Gene Stills (Margaret)  of Randleman, NC, Howard Stills (Stella) of Leicester, NC, Donnie Stills (Wanda) of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Kathy Hartman (John) of Randleman, NC; grandchildren, Cody Robinson (Fiancée, Alexis) Dillon Robinson, Cadence Robinson, Austin Lane, Alicia and Joselyn.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 in the Chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Royce Metcalf officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
