Ronald Luther Ballew, 77, of Leicester, was called to be with Jesus his lord and Savior on Monday, August 5th, 2024, at mission hospital surrounded by his loved ones after 12 days of fighting he was ready to go home. Born in Detroit Michigan raised in west Asheville by the late Arthur & Mary Ballew. He was proceeded in death by his brothers James Ballew, Paul Ballew, Fredrick Badgero, His sister Mary West Stuart & His love Mary Helms. He is survived by his siblings Mary Carroll (Bill), Beatrice Keller, Elaine Paz, & Rickie Ballew (Crystal), His children Ronald Ballew Jr (Erica), Revonda Ballew, Tabetha Ballew, George Ballew, Dana Tarlton (Jamie), Joel Ballew (Rebecca), his grandkids Cory Ballew, Dillon Huskey (Natalie), Caylah Ballew-Tarlton (Bradley), Molly McClung (Derick), Shannon Ballew Fleming (Trenton), Mckinnzie Ballew Davis, Jayger Ballew, Xzavier Ferron, Ashlyn Ballew, Gabriella Ferron, & Willow Ballew, His greatgrand kids Tre’, Rhett, Ryleigh, Liam, Ellamae, Ronni, Torvi, Melinda & Samuel, His many nieces and Nephews, His beloved friends including Sharon Giezentanner. A funeral service for Mr. Ballew will be on Saturday August 10th 4pm at Starnes Cove Baptist Church with Pastor William Moore officiating.
