Roger William “Rog” Pollock, 66, of Montreat, NC, passed away January 25, 2019 at the John F. Keever, Jr.Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
Roger was born July 3, 1952 in Owensboro, KY to the late William and Jeanne Waggoner Pollock. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Degree in Architecture. Roger retired from Griffin Architects in Asheville, NC and was a member of A.I.A. Roger was a true gentleman of gentle humor. He had a genuine love for God and all His creation. Roger never met an animal he didn’t love. He was a dreamer whose interests included Architectural Design, tree houses, trains, tinkering, building, music, and any creative venture.
Surviving Roger is his loving wife, Susan; brothers, Bruce Pollock and wife, Marilyn, of Lexington, KY, Dave Pollock and wife, Nancy, of Bowling Green, KY; niece, Lauren Budziak and husband, Jeff and their son, Carson, of Bowling Green, KY; nephew, Jon Pollock and his fiancee, Lauren Brenneman, of Louisville, KY.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to South Carolina Inn at Montreat, P.O. Box 670, Montreat, NC 28757
