Rodney Dean “Fig” Newton, 52, of Asheville, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his home.
Rodney was born November 23, 1968 in Sapulpa, OK. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Gene Newton.
Surviving Rodney is his loving wife, Bridget Hensley Newton; mother, Lillian Jane Kerns; daughter, Ashley Lawing Newton, of Asheville, NC; 2 stepsons, 2 sisters, 4 brothers, and 4 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held March 30th from 530 to 730 at 590 Pisgah Hwy 28715 Bethesda missionary Baptist church.
