Robert (Bob) Joseph DuBrul (August 3, 1937- September 18, 2025)

Robert Joseph DuBrul died peacefully in his sleep on September 18, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Judith Catheryn Hoy of 27 years and his children: Thomas DuBrul (Jen Rodwell), Tresa Amrani (Ahmed Amrani), Robert DuBrul Jr, and William DuBrul (April DuBrul). His grandchildren: Megan Hill, Nickolas, Michael, and Joe Petroni, Aleksander and Adam Amrani, Tommy, Ryan, and Rigel DuBrul. His great-grandchildren: Madelin Budzen, Zane, Cole, Amy, Clara Mary Wade: Bastian, and Genevieve Petroni.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Ernest DuBrul, his mother, Elizabeth Strobel, and his daughter, Elizabeth Petroni.

Bob graduated from John Carroll University with an MS in Arts and a certificate in Spiritual Direction, and was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit Universities. He worked as a human resource management developer for a large corporation. He was involved in volunteer work his whole life.

He and Judith moved to Asheville, NC, in 2005 and to the Givens Estate in 2020.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Givens Estate Chapel, 2360 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, NC, on October 18, 2025, at 2pm.
