Richard Joseph “Rags” Ragali

Richard Joseph “Rags” Ragali, age 69, of Jupiter, FL passed away on November 29, 2025, at his summer house in Asheville, NC.  Richard was born in Torrington, CT on February 25, 1956 to the late Joseph John Ragali and Mary Josephine Bosco Ragali.

Richard was a graduate of Wolcott Technical School specializing in Architecture and also of Northeastern Community College.  He was a decorated Sheriff Deputy for over 30 years with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department.  He was a Harley Davidson riding enthusiast that loved traveling the U.S. and abroad.

Richard is survived by his children, Joshua Ragali (Brianne Ragali), of Tequesta, FL and Joseph Ragali, of Asheville, NC; his siblings, Lynn Ragali Wattles (Ted Wattles), of Tequesta, FL and Louis Ragali (Marianne Ragali), of Palm City, FL; his nieces, Jessica Wattles (Bryan Willoughby), of Jupiter, FL, Kristyn Wattles (Jordan Wright), of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeffrey Wattles, of Tequesta, FL.
