Richard Odell “Bo” Hudson

Richard Odell “Bo” Hudson, 72, of Arden, NC, passed away April 12, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Bo was born August 8, 1952 in Hendersonville, NC to the late John Howard Hudson and Annie Mae Prator Hudson. He is also preceded in death by his son, Richard Scott; brothers, Woodfin Hudson, David Hudson, Johnny Hudson; sisters, Mary Sue Mc-Minn, Robbie Ball, and Jetta Hill. Bo enjoyed golf, baseball, basketball, football, and NASCAR. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outside.

Surviving Bo is his loving wife, Lois Barnwell Hudson; sisters, Evelyn Davis of Arden, NC, Judy Jackson of Arden, NC; brothers, Ray Hudson (Virginia) of Arden, NC, Dan Hudson (Joann) of East Flat Rock, NC, Jackie Hudson (Cindy) of Arden, NC; many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
