After retiring from the US Navy, he continued to work until the age of 80 in both the textile and propane industries. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing or sitting on his porch. His greatest joy was spending time with his family whom he loved deeply and unconditionally. He was a caring and devoted husband, a loving father, and the world’s greatest grandpa and great grandpa.
