Raymond Cecil Graham, Jr., (66) June 19, 1955 - March 27, 2022, Asheville, NC.
Ray was born in Beaufort, SC, on June 19, 1955, he passed away peacefully into Jesus's embrace, Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2022, at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC, surrounded by his loving family.
He attended Battery Creek High School (Class of 74)
US Navy Veteran, Honorably Discharged (Petty Officer 2" Class), Received numerous Commendations, National Defense Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal, Deployments included: NAS Rota, Spain (VQ-2) 1975-1978, USS Forrestal (CV59) 1978-1979
Following his Naval Career, Ray began his career with Gulfstream Aerospace, until he retired in 2017.
His many interests included: Guns, Boats, Motorcycles, Muscle Cars, anything Aerospace, He enjoyed, Boating, Bowling, Cooking, Shooting, He loved music, particularly Rock and Roll, an avid animal lover, he enjoyed spending time with his critters.
He was a devoted, loving husband and father, had a wonderful sense of humor, loved God, his family, and his country, he was a true Patriot. He is survived by his parents, RC and Alice Graham of Beaufort, SC, his wife of 47 years, Kathy L. Graham, his daughter, Kathryn D. Graham (Jason McDowell), of Fletcher, NC, his sister, Stephanie Szucs (Tony McMurray) of Beaufort, SC, and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM, with Military Honors.
A Celebration of Life gathering with a wreath release, will be held at The Port Royal Sands immediately following. All are invited to attend and share their stories in remembrance of Ray.
