Patricia Fisher Fusco

Patricia Fisher Fusco, 70, of Leicester passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville. Born September 15, 1953 and raised in Marshall, NC, she was a daughter of the late James and Lela Fisher. She was a graduate of Madison County High School class of 1971, which was the last class to graduate on the island. Pat was devout in her Christian faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. Of her many enjoyments in life, working a good puzzle, playing Solitaire on her computer, researching facts on her computer, and reading a novel by one of her favorite authors, John Grisham, Danielle Steele, or Alex Cross, were among her favorites. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Caldwell, who passed away in 2017. Surviving are her daughter, Colby Fusco and her spouse, Brian Butts, of Asheville, NC; siblings, Gail Burkhart and her spouse, Lee, of Leicester, Clara Ramsey and her spouse, Kenny, of Hot Springs, Janie Sutton and her spouse, Gary, of Greer, SC, Bess Fisher of Hot Springs, Buddy Fisher of Marshall, and Michael Fisher and his spouse, Robin, of Marshall; grandson, Dustin Watkins of Hendersonville; great granddaughter, Sophia Watkins; and husband of 34 years, Dick Fusco of Arden, NC. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services in Asheville, NC.
