Otha Nadine Fisher

Otha Nadine Fisher, 89, passed away on October 16th, 2023, at Brookdale at Walden Ridge. She loved well, laughed a lot, and never met a stranger. The widow of Earl Weldon Fisher, she was a native of Madison County and former employee of Micro Switch in Mars Hill. Preceded in death by parents, Robert Earl Brady Sr. and Lillian Beatrice Corn, brothers, Robert, Riley, Lawrence, Jesse, and Farrell Brady as well as her youngest sister, Elaine Brady, and first grandchild, Christy Buckner. She is survived by her three children - Ed Fisher, Linda Scoggin, and Vanessa Fisher, and her youngest sister's son, whom she raised from 6 months of age, Jeremy Brady, along with three grandchildren - Rachael Lite-Fisher, Colie Scoggin, and Marley Fulp, sisters Elizabeth Buckner and Lynne Davis, plus various nieces and nephews. Nadine's ashes will be interred beside her husband of more than 50 years at Bull Creek Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held at Bull Creek Church, 2142 Bull Creek Road, from 1-4 pm, October 28th, 2023.
