Norman Allen Whitted

Norman Allen Whitted, 58, of Weaverville, NC, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in his home.

Norman was born in Asheville, NC to the late Lewis Allen Whitted and Joyce Banks Smith. He is also preceded in death by his twin sister, Norma Jean Worley.

Norman loved drawing, wood carving, and building things.

Surviving Norman are his sons, Cody Whitted of Greenville, SC, Heath Whitted (Jessica) of Weaverville, NC; daughters, Kristina Whitted of Greenville, SC, Heather Whitted of Greenville, SC; brothers, Junior Hughes (Debbie) of Morganton, NC, Randy Hughes of Greenville, SC, Dewayne Jones (Revia) of Weaverville, NC; grandchildren, Carlos Manuel, Alesia Manuel, Angel Whitted, Kalie Tenise, Kalin Lucille, Sofia Gabriella, Michael Cruz, Caleb Pressley, Noah Whitted, Kameron Vernon, Nicholas Whitted, Brandon Whitted, Evan Whitted, Thalia Martin, Kila Antonio; cousin, Jeremy Whitted; lifetime best friend, Mark Cole; and mother of all his children, Kathy Perez.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
