Nanette Domingos

Nanette Domingos, 81, of Asheville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Chunns Cove Assisted Living. Born December 28, 1939, in Atlanta, GA, she was a longtime resident of Staten Island, NY before moving to Asheville, NC. Nannette was dancer, artist, massage therapist, .and most of all, a free spirit. She enjoyed chocolate, meditation, and hiking in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Surviving are her children, Eva Sievert-Schiller of Pearl River, NY, and Joseph Sievert of Staten Island, NY; Sister, Suzanne Domingos; and granddaughter, Allegra Sievert of Staten Island, NY. A memorial service will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, December 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM. The family would like to extend their gratitude to her Asheville friends and to the many caretakers who helped her through the end of her life including Amy Folwer, the staff of Riverside Village in Black Mountain, NC, the staff of Chunns Cove Assisted Living, and her Four Seasons Hospice teams.
