Michael Even-Nur

Michael Even-Nur, 78, of Asheville, NC peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at The Solace Center.

Michael was born on August 30, 1947 in Kibbutz Beit HaShita, Israel. He was an Aeronautical Design Engineer, as well as an avid gardener, birdwatcher, boater, and hiker. 

Surviving Michael is his wife of 53 years, Rebecca Even-Nur; his daughters, Orli Fabro (Anthony) of Columbus, OH, Ayelet Even-Nur (Scott Fischer) of Asheville, NC; sisters, Anat Antebi (Tebi) of Israel, Hana Shalev of Israel; grandsons, Ellis Fischer Even-Nur of Asheville, NC, Izzy Fischer Even-Nur of Asheville, NC, and Ash Fischer Even-Nur of Asheville, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 1pm at the Congregation Beth HaTephila. The service will be officiated by Rabbi Batsheva Meiri. Shiva will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm at the family’s home.
