Matthew Wesley Pridmore

Matthew Wesley Pridmore, 41, of Jacksonville, FL passed away August 1, 2025 in Etowah, NC.

Matthew was born August 23, 1983 in Hendersonville, NC. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Wesley Pridmore, grandparents, Barbara McCrary, Fred McCrary, and Jeanette White.

Matthew graduated from West Henderson High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UNCC. He worked for Mercedes Benz USA as a product analysis engineer in the corporate setting. His job was to investigate and testify for MBUSA which allowed him to travel all over the USA. Matthew loved being on the water and walking on the beach searching for sharks teeth. He had a talent and ability to repair anything which lead him to always helping others. His quick wit and humor entertained everyone. Our hearts are broken, but our memories are precious.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Leisha McCrary Pridmore of Etowah, NC; and sister, Brooke Pridmore of Charlotte, NC.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
