Mary Annette Burnette Waldroup

Mary Annette Burnette Waldroup, 78, of Bryson City, NC passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Mary was born January 7, 1942 to the late Jay Burnette and Ruth Greene Burnette.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Waldroup.  She loved coloring, making floral arrangements, quilting and embroidery work.      
Surviving Mary are her daughters, Beth Roach (Dean) of Clarksville, TN, Brenda Morrison of Erwin, TN; sons, Rick and Danny Waldroup of Bryson City, NC; brother, Kenneth Burnette (Pat) of Rockingham, NC; sisters, Betty Shuler (LD) of Bryson City, NC, Patsy Bowers, of China, MI; grandsons, Chris Hampton (Danielle) of Bixby, OK, Joseph Hampton of Tulsa, OK, Nick Byrd (Stephanie) of Wamego, KS, Eric Morrison of Erwin, TN, Clay Waldroup of Bryson City, NC, Ricky Waldroup (Taysia) of Bryson City, NC; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Mckenna, Landon, and Mykayla; Five nieces and one  nephew.   
A private service will be held later. 
The children of Annette Waldroup express deep gratitude to everyone who prayed for their mother and extended love and concern for her.  She was a wonderful mother and was loved by many.  She was so kind and generous to all that knew and loved her. She touched so many lives and was cherished and adored beyond measure.  She loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed.
