Mary Geneva Hyatt Gentry 72, of Weaverville, NC, passed from her earthly home to her Heavenly Home Friday, November 6, 2020.

Mary was born October 17, 1948 in Asheville, NC, to the late Flora Dean Hyatt. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Gentry.

Mary attended Celebration Church in Weaverville, NC. She loved going to church there and was cherished by her church family. She loved quilting and embroidery and was known for being a diehard Tarheels Fan.

Mary is survived by her son: Glenn Gentry (Katrina) of Weaverville, NC. Brother: Glenn “Puddin” Hyatt (Charlene) of Asheville, NC. Nephews: Chad Hyatt (Crystal), Russ Hyatt (Brandi), Dale Hyatt (Lauren) Special Cousins: John “Eddie” Hyatt and Verna Davis Great Nieces and Nephew's: Silver, Case, Addie, Oakland, Camden, and McKinley.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice nurse Shawntay; The Franklin Family , and The Fields Family for all their help, love and support.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Friends and family are welcome at the home of Glenn Gentry.
