Martha Lynne (Hurni) Buckner

Martha Lynne (Hurni) Buckner, 79, of Asheville, NC passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC. Born May 9, 1946 in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Myrene Hurni. She was a graduate of Lee Edwards High School class of 1964. She found comfort in painting and drawing with charcoal in which she became very talented. Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Lynne Buckner of Asheville, NC; brother, Bill Hurni and his spouse, Jill Shuler, of Hendersonville, NC; and a wonderful granddaughter, Colbie. No formal services will be held at this time.
