Mark Wayne Waldrop, 54 of Asheville, NC, passed away, Friday, April 23, 2021 at the John F Keever Solace Center in Asheville.

Mark was born August 30, 1966 to Billy Waldrop (12-18-2000) and Jerrie Lee Lunsford Roberson. In addition to his father, Mark is also preceded in death by his uncle, Tony Waldrop, and aunt, Hiawatha Reems.

Mark graduated from Enka High School in 1984. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Carolina Truck and Body and was a member of Starnes Cove Baptist Church. Mark enjoyed working on cars and listening to old classic country music. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving Mark is his loving wife of 30 years, Dawn Schrader Waldrop; mother, Jerrie Robertson (Tommy) of Asheville, NC; daughters, Holly Haney (Rex) of Morristown, TN, Nicole Breeden (David) of Clyde, NC, Crystal Hutchinson of Leicester, NC; sister, Kelly Waldrop of Asheville, NC; brother, Darren Waldrop (Leondra) of Elizabethton, TN; grandchildren, Skye Gentry of Morristown, TN, Khloey Gentry of Morristown, TN; Hartleigh Breeden of Clyde, NC, Jaylin Hutchinson of Leicester, NC, and Charles Hutchinson of Leicester, NC.

A memorial service will be held 2:00PM on Sunday, May 2, 2021 the Chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services with Darlene Barwick officiating.
