Marjorie Powell Caudle

            Heaven gives a very warm welcome to Marjorie Powell Caudle, who went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 23, 2025. Marge, as she prefers to be called, was married to Zeb Vance Caudle Jr. (July 11, 1932-July 9, 2018). Marge grew up in West Asheville, where she graduated from Lee Edward High School – now Asheville High School. Marge moved from Marion to Asheville to be near family. Both Marge and Vance were active in their local Baptist churches, and delighted in meeting new people, seeing new places, and going on adventures.

            Marge is survived by her sister, Betty Powell Chandler; nephew, Todd Chandler and wife Shanna, niece, Kyndall; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Caudle and Judy Powell.

            A memorial service will be held at Beulah Baptist Church (906 N. Turkey Creek Road, Leicester, North Carolina 28748), officiated by Pastor Ricky Wolfe, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Family requests no flowers, but memorial contributions can be made to Beulah Baptist Church.
