Marion Waldmann Parmer

Marion Waldmann Parmer, 57, of Asheville, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville. Born in Benton Harbor, MI, and a graduate of Lakeshore High School before moving to Asheville, NC where she was a member of Oak Forest Presbyterian Church and co-owner of Smokey Mountain Auto Service. She is preceded in death by her father, Horst Waldmann, and survived by her mother, Irene Mueller Waldmann, of Lakeshore, MI. Also surviving are her husband of 9 years, Tracy Parmer; daughters, Shannon Paris and husband William, and Barbara Glover, of Candler, NC; brothers, Mike Waldmann and wife Joyce, of Orlando, FL, and Mark Waldmann and wife Jane, or Midland, MI; grandson, Hunter Hannah, granddaughters, Taylor Glover, and Harper Paris, of Candler, NC; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 18th at 2:00pm at Oak Forest Presbyterian Church, 880 Sand Hill Road, Candler, NC, with a visitation prior starting at 12:00pm. Rev. David Morgan will be officiating.
