Marilyn Jean “GG” Masters Allen, 88, of Asheville passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville. Born October 20, 1931 in Campbell, MO, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Esther Masters. Prior to moving to Asheville, she had resided in Port Richey, FL and had been employed by Walmart as an associate for 20 years. Of her many hobbies she enjoyed reading and spending time with her wonderful grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Charles; son, Mark; and siblings, Peggy Ann, Jerry Joe, and Robert Marion. Surviving are her children, Sheryl Schultz and her spouse, Gary, of Lapeer, MI, Susan Reoch and her spouse, Rick, of White Lake, MI, and Peggy Bryant of Asheville, NC; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will take place in late spring in Michigan.
