Mable Darlene (Keever) Wise

Mable Darlene Keever Wise, 62, of Fletcher passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her sister’s home with her sister by her side. Born July 3, 1961 in Henderson County, NC, she was a daughter of the late George Elwood Keever and Marie Esther Howard Keever. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Edward Harrison Wise; brother, John Elwood Keever; and aunt, Irene Owenby. Surviving are her son, Shane Lee Barnwell of Fletcher, and her siblings, Florence M. Harris and her spouse, Tom Detka, of Fletcher, NC, and S.L. Keever of Asheville, NC. A private burial will be held at Emma’s Grove Baptist Church in Fletcher. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Mrs. Wise’s honor to 4 Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
