Loyal Laverne “Chuck” McCrumb, 76, of Leicester passed away on April 21, 2021 at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center in Asheville. Born November 6, 1944, he was the son of the late Ronald and Mary Johnson McCrumb. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and worked as a law enforcement officer for most of his life. In addition to his parents is his sister, Mary Evans. Surviving are his life partner of 17 years, Pauline Murphy; children, Marc McCrumb of Holt, MI, and Erin Gallaway of Grand Ledge, MI; granddaughters, Marissa McCrumb of Holt, MI, and Elena Gallaway of Grand Ledge, MI; step-daughter, Angela Murphy Brown of Leicester; and a step-granddaughter, Kristen Revis of Leicester.
