Linda A. Field

Linda Field, beloved wife for 39 years of her husband, Gordon Field, passed into eternal peace on October 19, 2024. She was born to Dale and Audrey Miller on November 17, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio. She lived most of her adult life in Houston, Texas before she and Gordon retired to Fletcher, North Carolina in 2013. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her sister, Mary Kathleen Hall, her brother, Rollin (Ron) Miller, several nieces and nephews and their children, her best friend of 50+ years, Kimberly Welser, and her precious goddaughter, Ashley Marie. Linda loved doing needle-work, but her favorite hobby was baking. She is most remembered for the thousands of Christmas cookies she made over the years. A private celebration of life was held shortly after her passing. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite animal rescue society.
