Lawrence Ray Obituary

Lawrence Kenneth Ray, 85, of Marshall, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He is the son of the late Byard and Nora Norton Ray and a lifelong resident of Madison Co. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother John Ray and sister Sharon Ray. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Ray Bullock and husband, Kenneth Bullock; son, Kenny Ray; grandson, Kevin Bullock and his wife, Tiffany Bullock; great grandson, Kason; and sisters, Lena Jean Gardin and Treva Anna Pinczkowski. Lawrence was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a driver salesman for Bost and Sun Beam Bakeries for over 40 years. He was also an avid trout fisherman and deer hunter. Lawrence was devoted to his family and was its anchor. He cannot be replaced. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date when health conditions permit.
