Lauren Gail Kittel

Lauren Gail Kittel, 57, of Asheville, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Mission Hospital.

Lauren was born in Georgia to Rudolph Henry Kittel and Eleanor Vogel Kittel.

Lauren received her high school diploma before becoming employed as a CNA. She worked as a CNA for most of her life before becoming disabled. Lauren loved going to the casino, as well as spending time with her animals and her granddaughter Jasmine.

Surviving Lauren is her daughter, Brittany Kittel of Asheville, NC; brothers, Gary Kittel of Asheville, NC, Dan Kittel (Susie) of Arden, NC; granddaughter, Jasmine Chandler of Marion, NC; and great-granddaughter, Eleanor Chandler of Marion, NC.

Lauren was well loved by her friends and family. She cherished every moment with her granddaughter, Jasmine. Lauren loved going to the casino with her mom and daughter. She would make you laugh every chance she could and would help anyone she was able to. She had the biggest heart.
