Larry Lankford Obituary

Larry Eugene “Pudge” Lankford, 64, of Weaverville passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Mission Hospital.

A native of Buncombe County, Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Ray Lankford Sr. and Brenda Florence Porter Lankford. He was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. Larry enjoyed fishing and Arrowhead Hunting.

Surviving Larry is his daughter, April Philbeck; brothers, Paul Ray Lankford Jr. (Terry Jo) of Weaverville, NC; Kenneth Wayne Lankford, of Burnsville, NC, and Terry Lee Lankford of Weaverville, NC.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Lankford Family Cemetery on Flat Creek Church Rd. Family and friends will meet following the service at Flat Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
