Kenneth Zeegers

Kenneth Zeegers, age 57, passed away on Thursday May 25, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Local proud owner of Jackson Painting, he served the surrounding communities for over 25 years. Ken moved from Florida to Western North Carolina in 1996 where he met his wife Denise of 27 years. They soon welcomed two sons and their time spent as a family brought them all great joy. He is survived by his loving wife Denise and cherished sons Nicholas and Marshal. He is also survived by his mother Audrey Zeegers (Alan), brother Dan Zeegers (Natasha, Nastia, Paul), sister Yvonne Zeegers Brown (Steve, Chris, Dave), a very large extended family and countless other close friends. He was preceded in death by his father Nick Zeegers. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 1, 2023 from 6-8pm at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church (Brevard, NC). A memorial service in his honor will be held at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church on Friday June 2, 2023 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be sent to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Checks may be made payable to UNC Health Foundation with Ken Zeegers noted in the memo line.
