June L. Ritten Wells, 95, of Asheville, NC, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Four Seasons Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC.

June was born on June 12, 1929 in Ft. Pierce, FL to the late Thomas and Lucille Ritten. She is also preceded in death by her husband,Charles Wells Sr. and her daughter, Jacqui Wells.

June enjoyed shopping, reading, shopping, journaling, shopping,writing poetry  and most of all, shopping.

Surviving June are her daughters, Karen Gonzalez of Asheville, NC, spouse Louis Gonzalez; Peggy Wells of Asheville, NC, spouse Malia Johnson; sons, Charles S. Wells Jr. of Newberry, FL.; and James E. Ritten Sr. of Lake Placid, FL, spouse Chris Ritten; sister, Jackie Ritten of Palm City, FL; brother, Thomas Ritten of Ocoee, FL; granddaughter, Debbie Irizarry; grandsons, James E. Ritten Jr., Sean Wells, Justin Wells and Ryan Wells; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

June will be laid to rest in Forest meadows West cemetery in Gainesville, Fl, where a graveside service will be held during the last week of August; Date and time to be determined.
