Julie Theresa Carney, 71, of Asheville went home to her Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her home. Born September 18, 1948 in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late August William and Theresa Noeding. She attended school at St. Cecilia Catholic School in Englewood and retired from Legg’s, Hanes, Bali, and Playtex in Asheville after 10 years of service. Some of her passions included knitting, painting, and drawing landscapes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Erinanne Clark. Surviving are her children, Patrick J. Carney and Darrin W. Carney both of Asheville; grandchildren, Stephanie Carney and her fiancé, Dave Tuason, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Jessalyn Mullins and her spouse, Anthony, of Swannanoa, NC, Gina Carney of Black Mountain, NC, Sadie Clark of Clayton, NC, and Charlie Clark of Holly Springs, NC; and a wonderful great-grandchild, Gabriel Yates. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
