Judy Ann Edwards Spindler

Judy Ann Edwards Spindler, 74 of Barnardsville, NC passed away on August 21, 2024 at the Solace Center in Asheville, NC. She was born in Erwin, TN, on October 7, 1949 to the late Dana Edwards and Betty Rose Hoyle Edwards.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her son, Pete Shelton and her sister, Karen English.

Judy was a hairdresser and worked at ThermoFisher for many years. She was a Baptist, worshiping at various churches since childhood. Judy loved watching hummingbirds, exploring Oak Island via tricycle or golf cart, and she also loved her Shih Tzus, Tommie and Willie.

Judy is survived by her loving spouse, Christopher Spindler; daughter, Jennifer Yeager (Paul) of Waynesville, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Edwards (John) of Weaverville, NC, Jon Wilson of Mars Hill, NC, Taylor Shelton of Barnardsville, NC; great-grandchildren, Hank, Jasper, and Ollie Edwards; step-children, Megan Klein (Mark) of Hendersonville, NC, Jonathan Spindler of Barnardsville, NC, Christopher Spindler Jr. of St. Augustine, FL; step grandchildren, Peyton and Jack Klein, and Nate Spindler, Erin and Kaylee Clarke.

A memorial service will be held on September 22, 2024 at Big Ivy Community Center in Barnardsville at 3:00PM.
