Judy G. Sams Price, 73, of Asheville passed away Monday, September 27, 2021. Born October 5, 1948 in Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Violet Sams. She loved going to church and worshipping her Lord with her Christian friends and family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Alden Whittemore, Jr. and Scotty Whittemore. Surviving is her daughter, Suzanne Vick and her spouse, Dwayne Vick, of Candler; grandson, Joseph Brown and his fiancé, Lori Simpson, of Candler; great grandson, Westen Brown; and special friends, Rosa Bentz and her spouse, Richard, of Fairview and Sandra Strong and her fiancé, John, of Candler.
