Joseph Matthew Huntley

Joseph "Joe" Matthew Huntley, 34, of Fairview, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in a car accident. He was born on March 18, 1990, in Buncombe County. Joe was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School, and he worked as an automotive mechanic for most of his life. He got married in 2008 and together they had two daughters. Of his many enjoyments in life, tinkering with cars, football, racing, spending time with his two daughters, just being with his best friend and wife, Ansley, and riding around with his dog, Scrappy, were among his favorites. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Ansley Elizabeth Price; their daughters, Victoria Huntley, 16, and Olivia Huntley, 13, all of Fairview, NC; godson, Jameson Marshall, of Asheville; parents, Jamie & Robert Huntley, of Fairview; brother, Joshua Huntley Sr. and his wife, Brooke, of Mars Hill; niece, Breonna Hembree, of Mars Hill; nephews, Nathaniel Peele, Jacob Huntley, and Joshua Huntley Jr., all of Mars Hill, NC; and grandmother, Alta Lowe, of Asheville. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Wilkie, Brenda Huntley, and R.B. Huntley. No formal services will be held at this time.
