John David "J.D." Gause

John David “J.D. ” Gause Sr., 68, of Racine, WI, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

John was born in Loris, SC. He worked as a contractor and was known to be a hard worker. John loved gardening and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elick Montgomery Jr. and his son, John D. Gause Jr.

Surviving John is his loving wife of 11 years, Sandra Annette Gause-Parks; son, Covet Dion Wilson of Little River, SC; daughter, Nina Shae Gause of Asheville, NC; brothers, Richard Thompson, Donald Hardee, Vince Hardee (Mattie), Kent Hardee, all of Winston-Salem, NC ,Melton J, Hardee (Beatrice) of Snellville, GA, Kenneth E. Hardee of Racine, WI, Tommy Thompson of Kenosha, WI; sisters, Naaira Muhammad, Cynthia Baskin (Ronald), Laverne Hardee, all of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Devante Gause, Xzaevian Richardson, Darryl Jeffries, Lashae Gause, Damien Lopez, all of Asheville, Terrell D. Wilson, Zaria A. Wilson, Caia D. Wilson, Kiana F. Wilson all of Lorton Va ; step-daughter, LaToya Parker of North Wilksboro, NC, step-son, Erick Parker of North Wilksboro, NC; grandmother, Elizabeth Queen Wells of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

John will be laid to rest at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville, NC. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
