Joan Patricia “Pat” Swann Gibson, 88, of Asheville, NC, passed away August 16, 2023 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville. Joan was born April 18, 1935 to the late Wilburn Wallace Swann and Pauline Lillian Pons Swann. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Morris. Surviving Joan are her sons, Gary Alan Gibson of Weaverville, NC, Terry Dean Gibson of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Jean Carolyn Swann of Asheville, NC; 10 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
