Joan "Gaggie" Carter Silver, 84, of Asheville, NC passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. She had worked at Moore's Bakery, Rose's, and Family Dollar before retiring. Surviving Joan are her children, Ann Stilner (Terry), George Silver (Revonda), and Charles Silver (Kim); 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date this year.
